Williams Double Earns Bilbao Win Over Mourinho’s Fenerbahce

Athletic Bilbao Defeats Fenerbahce with Inaki Williams’ Brace

Inaki Williams scored twice as Athletic Bilbao clinched a 2-0 victory against Fenerbahce, moving them to the top of the Europa League standings.

After securing five wins and a draw in six matches, Bilbao now leads the table with 16 points, three points ahead of Lazio and Eintracht Frankfurt, who have a match scheduled for Thursday.

Athletic Bilbao continued their winning streak with a sixth consecutive victory across all competitions after their triumph in Istanbul. Inaki Williams, the Ghanaian international, was the hero of the match, scoring two crucial goals in the first half.

Meanwhile, Jose Mourinho’s Fenerbahce finds themselves in 15th place in the 36-team table, with a total of eight points accumulated so far.
