Jay-Z and Diddy Named in Lawsuit Alleging Rape of 13-Year-Old
Jay-Z, the iconic musician and producer, has been named in a lawsuit alleging he raped a 13-year-old alongside hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs at a 2000 afterparty following the MTV Video Music Awards, court documents reveal. Both Carter and Combs deny the allegations.
The updated civil complaint claims the plaintiff, unnamed for privacy, was assaulted while other attendees failed to intervene. Jay-Z, initially referred to as “Celebrity A” in the case, faces accusations of supporting Combs in similar alleged acts.
Carter responded on social media, calling the allegations “heinous” and accusing attorney Tony Buzbee of orchestrating a “blackmail attempt.” “File a criminal complaint, not a civil one. Real justice demands it,” Jay-Z declared in a statement.
Meanwhile, Combs, already charged with sex trafficking and racketeering, faces mounting lawsuits from over 100 alleged victims. He maintains his innocence, with his criminal trial set for May 2025.
Buzbee emphasized the gravity of the claims, stating, “The pleading speaks for itself.” Both cases continue to generate intense scrutiny as the legal battles unfold.
