Nomzamo Mbatha, the award-winning actress known for her role in Shaka iLembe, has recently made headlines as the first African face of Creme of Nature. The announcement was made on Instagram, where Mbatha expressed her excitement about this new partnership.

In her Instagram post, Mbatha shared, “I’ve been working on something special and I am way too excited that I get to finally share my new partnership with Creme of Nature as the first African face of this iconic brand. What truly resonates is the celebration of our roots, radiance, beauty and heritage! Authenticity, natural beauty, versatility of our texture and identity rooted in our essence. This is who we are!”

The partnership with Creme of Nature is a significant milestone for Mbatha, as she joins the ranks of international actress and TV host Keke Palmer, who was named the brand’s first-ever Chief Brand Officer in 2024. Creme of Nature, founded in 1976 on the South Side of Chicago, was created as a Black-founded brand catering to people with textured hair. Acquired by Revlon, the brand continues to honor its legacy by championing natural hair and authentic beauty worldwide.

With this new partnership, Mbatha is not only representing African beauty but also celebrating diversity and inclusion in the beauty industry. As the face of Creme of Nature, she will undoubtedly inspire others to embrace their natural beauty and heritage.

Overall, Mbatha’s collaboration with Creme of Nature marks a significant step towards promoting diversity and representation in the beauty industry. Her partnership with the iconic brand is a testament to the power of embracing one’s roots and celebrating authentic beauty.
