Erin-Jane Miller, a stunning beauty queen from Fourways, has been crowned Mrs South Africa 2025, taking over the title from Tshego Gaelae. The grand finale of the pageant was hosted by Elana Afrika-Bredenkamp at Emperors Palace in Johannesburg this past Saturday.

The theme of the event was inspired by the elements of fire, wind, water, and earth, with contestants dazzling the audience in red gowns, flowing tulle dresses, and metallic eveningwear. Among the contestants, Erin-Jane Miller stood out and claimed the prestigious title, with Tshiamo Githinji from Sandton being named First Princess and Lisa Gittins from Pretoria crowned as Second Princess.

Describing her journey with Mrs South Africa as a life-changing experience, Miller expressed her gratitude for the support she received throughout the competition. She emphasized the importance of self-development, leadership, and personal growth in achieving her victory.

As the new Mrs South Africa, Erin-Jane Miller will represent the country at international competitions and lead philanthropic projects during her reign. She highlighted the importance of resilience, effort, and sisterhood in pursuing one’s dreams.

The crowning ceremony began with a preliminary competition where contestants showcased their transformation over the past year. Finalists competed in swimwear and eveningwear, as well as answered questions on current events to demonstrate their intelligence and understanding of global and domestic issues.

The judging panel, led by business leader Matapa Maila, included prominent figures such as Dr Fezile Mkhize, former Mrs South Africa Jacqueline Ferns, climate activist Catherine Constantinides, and fashion expert Melina Lambrakis. They were looking for a candidate who embodied empathy, wisdom, and global awareness.
