New Global Emotions Report Ranks Seychelles as Africa’s Least Stressed Country in 2025
A recent Global Emotions Report published by CEOWORLD magazine has identified Seychelles as Africa’s least stressed country for the year 2025, placing it at the 57th position globally. The study, which encompassed 197 countries, assessed stress levels based on various factors including work, finances, social and family life, as well as health and safety. Following closely behind Seychelles are Mauritius (77th), Gabon (87th), and Equatorial Guinea (94th), with Botswana (102nd) securing the fifth spot on the list of Africa’s most relaxed nations. On the other end of the spectrum, Burundi was highlighted as the most stressed country in Africa, predominantly due to ongoing economic and political challenges.
It is evident from the report that Africa exhibits a wide range of living conditions, with some countries offering tranquil environments and economic stability, while others grapple with persistent unrest and adversity.
