JD Vance caused quite a stir on social media with his recent comments about President Donald Trump’s sense of humor. During an interview on Fox News, Vance suggested that Democrats should learn to “laugh at themselves a little bit” from Trump.

Vance went on to say that the Dems need to lighten up and not get offended so easily. He emphasized the importance of having a sense of humor about the political process.

However, many people on social media found Vance’s claim to be quite amusing. They pointed out that there is plenty of evidence showing that Trump is not one to laugh at himself or take jokes at his expense lightly.

For example, during his legal battles with Paramount Global, Trump famously tried to “terminate” Stephen Colbert’s contract with CBS. This behavior does not exactly align with Vance’s assertion that Trump can laugh at himself.

Given the overwhelming evidence to the contrary, it’s no wonder that Vance’s comments were met with a fair amount of mockery online.
