Sierra Leone’s national team, Leone Stars, embarked on their journey to Bissau this morning and have safely landed in the city ahead of their crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifier match against Guinea Bissau on September 7.
The delegation, consisting of local players and technical staff, was led by SLFA Vice President 1, Ali Badara Tarawallie, who also serves as the Chairman of the Technical Committee and head of the delegation.
Upon their arrival, the team settled into their camp and will kick off their training sessions in Bissau tomorrow. Head Coach Mohamed Kallon has planned two training sessions for the day to intensify their preparations for the upcoming qualifier.
