Kenya is gearing up to host two major tournaments, according to Sports CS Kipchumba Murkomen. He has assured that the country will be ready to welcome the upcoming events with open arms.

“We’re putting in tireless efforts to ensure that Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani, is in top-notch condition for the CHAN tournament scheduled for February. The renovation of Nyayo Stadium and the training grounds is also nearing completion for the same purpose,” Murkomen stated.

The presence of CAF Host Country Manager for Kenya, Mr. Kabelo Bosilong, at a recent meeting was a significant boost. He reassured the Kenyan authorities that the two tournaments will indeed take place in the three countries that successfully won the bids to host them.

With these developments, Kenya is on track to showcase its capabilities in hosting major sporting events. The government is leaving no stone unturned to ensure that the infrastructure and facilities are up to par for the tournaments.

As the preparations continue, the sports fraternity in Kenya is eagerly anticipating the arrival of teams and fans from around the continent. The tournaments present a golden opportunity for Kenya to shine on the international stage and boost its reputation as a sports-loving nation.

In conclusion, Kenya is on a mission to deliver a memorable and successful hosting experience for the upcoming tournaments. With the unwavering support of the government, sports officials, and the public, all signs point towards a successful outcome. Let’s rally behind our country as we gear up for this exciting sporting extravaganza.
