Manchester United, a powerhouse in the Premier League, is in talks with Victor Osimhen for a potential summer transfer as they look to bolster their attacking options before the new season kicks off.

Osimhen, a 26-year-old Nigerian striker, is seeking a salary of €12 million from his potential new club as he looks to depart Serie A champions Napoli. Galatasaray, where Osimhen spent last season on loan, is keen on keeping him in Turkey, but interest from clubs like Manchester United and Napoli could sway his decision.

Napoli is reportedly asking for €75 million for Osimhen, who has been on United’s radar since discussions began back in May. The Red Devils are also considering other targets like Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford and have already secured the signing of Matheus Cunha from Wolverhampton Wanderers.

After a disappointing season that saw United finish in 15th place in the Premier League, manager Ruben Amorim is hoping for a positive turnaround in the upcoming season. Despite their struggles in the league, United managed to reach the Europa League final but fell short to Tottenham Hotspur, missing out on automatic qualification for the Champions League.

Osimhen had an impressive season with Galatasaray, contributing 37 goals and six assists in 41 appearances across all competitions, helping the team secure victories in the Turkish League and Cup.

As negotiations continue between Manchester United and Osimhen, fans eagerly await to see if the talented striker will make the move to Old Trafford and make an impact in the upcoming season. Stay tuned for more updates on this developing transfer saga.
