Jimmy Kimmel Returns from Summer Break, Debunks Rumors of Trump’s Death
After a lengthy annual summer break, Jimmy Kimmel made his return to late night television and immediately addressed the swirling rumors over the weekend that President Donald Trump was sick or even dead. Kimmel pointed out that the rumors began circulating when Trump hadn’t made any public appearances in a few days.
“That’s how much he’s in front of a camera,” Kimmel quipped. “When we don’t see him there, we assume he must be dead.”
Despite the rumors, Kimmel reassured his audience that Trump is very much alive, jokingly referring to him as looking like a “pumpkin that got left in a hatchback on a 100-degree day.” To prove his point, Kimmel played footage of Trump in the Oval Office addressing the rumors in a very peculiar manner.
In the footage, Fox News reporter Peter Doocy asks Trump, “How did you find out over the weekend that you were dead?” However, instead of Trump’s response, Kimmel focused on Vice President JD Vance, who was seen smiling in the background.
“Good old JD,” Kimmel remarked. “He hears the words ‘Trump dead,’ he lights up like a Christmas tree.”
Kimmel then made a bold prediction about the president’s health, stating, “Donald Trump will never die. Forget it. He’s like Dracula. He’s gonna keep sucking the life out of us forever.”
