Lone Tree Police Investigating Crash on Southbound Interstate 25
Lone Tree police have announced a closure of a section of southbound Interstate 25 on Saturday morning for further investigation into a crash that occurred on Wednesday night.
The closure will stretch from Ridgegate, Exit 192, to Castle Pines, Exit 188 and is expected to last from 7 to 9 a.m., as stated in a news release from the Lone Tree authorities.
While no fatalities were reported in the incident, which involved four cars and a motorcycle, Lone Tree communications director Melissa Gallegos confirmed that there were some serious injuries resulting from the crash. A post on X.com from the city also highlighted the severity of the injuries sustained.
Due to the darkness at the time of the crash, officials were unable to complete their investigation on Wednesday, as the incident occurred around 7:30 p.m.
