Multiple Pileup Crashes Cause Traffic Chaos in Metro Denver
On a snowy Wednesday night, multiple pileup crashes brought traffic to a standstill across metro Denver, causing chaos and delays for commuters.
The Denver Police Department reported a seven-vehicle crash near Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Clinton Street near Central Park at 6:19 p.m. One person sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital.
In another incident, a chain-reaction crash involving Golden police officers led to the closure of Colorado 58 at Washington Avenue around 5:30 p.m., as confirmed by Wheat Ridge and Golden police.
Adding to the traffic woes, Parker police announced the closure of Westbound Main Street at 20 Mile Road in Parker due to a crash at 5:45 p.m.
