Four talented fighters managed by Ivan Bruce Cudjoe’s Cabic Management & Promotions are aiming for major championship belts following their recent outstanding performances.
The group, consisting of Emmanuel Mankattah, Kofi Dana, Emmanuel Quaye, and Michael Darko, shared their ambitious goals during interviews on The Big Fight Night TV show. Each boxer expressed confidence in their skills to win prestigious titles and represent Ghana globally.
Mankattah, the UBO Africa Super Featherweight titleholder, has challenged Wasiru Mohammed from Ghana after a dominant display at a recent Bishop Boxing Promotions event. Known for his strategic approach, Mankattah is determined to continue his winning streak.
Dana, the current UBO Welterweight Champion from northern Ghana, opened up about his boxing journey, acknowledging past struggles and highlighting his growth and newfound confidence. He has set his sights on challenging several domestic opponents, including boxers from the Ghana Armed Forces.
Experienced fighter Quaye, holding the West African Super Welterweight title, is eyeing international matchups as he aims for a world championship. Under Coach Asare’s guidance, Quaye feels prepared for elite competition and is eager to showcase his skills on a global stage.
Darko, also known as “The Chorkor Dynamite,” claims that potential opponents are avoiding facing him in the ring. His next target is Mustapha Kamoko, the son of former boxer Bukom Banku, in what could be a captivating clash between generations.
Matchmaker Sam Nana Gold commended the dedication and commitment of the Cabic stable, praising the fighters as a talented new generation capable of bringing honor to themselves and Ghana. The promotional team is planning upcoming events featuring all four boxers at the Idrowhyt Events Centre in Dansoman in October and December.
The confidence and determination shown by these fighters reflect Ghana’s rich boxing heritage, with each athlete poised for potential success on the continental and global stages.
