The Baptist Convention of South Africa (BCSA) was thrilled to have renowned pastor, author, and founder of the dfree® Financial Freedom Movement, Dr. DeForest B. Soaries, Jr., as a special guest at its Annual Assembly. The event took place from December 12th to 15th, 2024, at the Thusong Centre, Zuurbekom, BCSA Headquarters.
Dr. Soaries was invited to deliver the keynote sermon during the ordination service on Sunday, December 15th, a momentous occasion for new pastors entering the ministry. In addition to this prestigious role, he conducted one-hour breakout sessions on Friday and Saturday to share his innovative work on financial empowerment and the dfree® philosophy of living debt-free.
Dr. Soaries’ presence at the Annual Assembly exemplifies his ongoing dedication to equipping communities with the necessary tools to attain financial freedom and sustainable success. Through his dfree® movement, he has empowered countless individuals and families to break free from the shackles of debt and cultivate strategies for financial independence, all rooted in biblical principles.
