Flutterwave, Africa’s leading payments technology company, has introduced the Flutterwave Accelerate Workshop, a virtual coaching program designed to equip young Africans with the practical skills needed to excel in the tech industry. The two-day workshop is specifically crafted for university students, recent graduates, and early-career professionals, offering valuable insights and expertise in four key fields: Data Privacy and Cybersecurity, Design, Marketing, and Product Management. Industry experts, including Ted Oladele, CEO of Mira and former VP of Design & Product at Flutterwave; Noel Ozoemena, Senior Manager of Branding and Storytelling; Nujinim Egwegbete-Odukwu, Head of Infrastructure Security; Abisola Epoyun, Data Privacy Manager; and Oluwatobiloba Animashaun, Product Manager at Flutterwave, will lead the sessions.

Flutterwave’s Accelerate Workshop is driven by the belief that providing opportunities and access to youth can unlock Africa’s potential. Recognizing the continent’s youthful and dynamic population as its most valuable asset, the company is committed to nurturing innovation through financial solutions and talent development programs.

The workshop aims to empower participants with practical skills and knowledge in high-demand tech fields, enabling them to thrive in the competitive industry. By connecting young Africans with accomplished professionals both within and outside of Flutterwave, the program offers a unique opportunity for personal and professional growth.

As Flutterwave continues to drive innovation in the payments technology sector, the Accelerate Workshop underscores the company’s commitment to investing in the next generation of tech leaders. By equipping young Africans with the tools and resources they need to succeed, Flutterwave is not only shaping the future of the tech industry but also fostering a culture of innovation and excellence across the continent.
