The FBI is currently conducting an investigation into the funding sources behind the riots against immigration enforcement in Los Angeles, according to agency director Kash Patel. There are concerns that Chinese influence may be playing a role in fueling the chaos.

One group that has been supporting the unrest is the Party for Socialism and Liberation, a communist political party with ties to networks funded by pro-Beijing tech tycoon Neville Roy Singham. This group has been actively posting updates about the riots on social media platforms, painting the arrests of illegal immigrants as a “war on immigrant communities” and accusing Immigration and Customs Enforcement of “kidnapping our neighbors, friends, and families.”

Another organization closely aligned with the Party for Socialism and Liberation is The People’s Forum, which is also funded by Singham. This New York City-based organization has been advocating for the causes of the ruling Chinese regime. Manolo De Los Santos, co-executive director of The People’s Forum, has publicly praised China’s handling of the COVID-19 pandemic. The group has hosted events in Manhattan that glorify the Chinese Communist Party’s rise to power as a transformative global event.

Both the Party for Socialism and Liberation and The People’s Forum have been actively calling for more protests and demonstrations in their respective areas. The People’s Forum, for example, recently urged people to gather in Manhattan’s Foley Square to demand that ICE leave their communities.

These organizations have not been shy about their ties to China. The People’s Forum has openly acknowledged receiving donations from Singham and has expressed support for various international causes, including standing with Palestine and opposing US aggression towards Russia and China.

The connections between these organizations and China have caught the attention of Congress. Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley wrote to Attorney General Pam Bondi and Patel, urging them to assess whether The People’s Forum and CODEPINK should register under the Foreign Agents Registration Act due to their alleged ties to Beijing.

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna has also vowed to issue a formal document request to Singham regarding his funding of a communist group linked to the LA riots and the Chinese Communist Party. CODEPINK has responded to these allegations by accusing Luna of libeling the organization and threatening their right to free speech.

The Epoch Times has reached out to Singham, the Party for Socialism and Liberation, The People’s Forum, and CODEPINK for comment on these allegations. The investigation into the money trail behind the Los Angeles riots is ongoing, and more information is likely to emerge as the FBI continues its inquiry. As the world continues to grapple with the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, a new threat has emerged in the form of a cyber pandemic. Cyber attacks have been on the rise since the start of the pandemic, with hackers taking advantage of the chaos and uncertainty to launch attacks on individuals, businesses, and even governments.

One of the most concerning aspects of the cyber pandemic is the increase in ransomware attacks. Ransomware is a type of malware that encrypts a victim’s files and demands payment in exchange for the decryption key. These attacks have become increasingly common during the pandemic, with hackers targeting hospitals, schools, and other essential services.

In addition to ransomware attacks, there has also been a rise in phishing scams and other forms of cyber fraud. With more people working from home and relying on digital tools for communication and collaboration, hackers have found new opportunities to exploit vulnerabilities in online systems.

The consequences of these cyber attacks can be devastating. Businesses can lose sensitive data, individuals can have their personal information stolen, and governments can be left vulnerable to espionage and sabotage. The economic impact of cyber attacks can also be significant, with estimates suggesting that cyber crime costs the global economy trillions of dollars each year.

So what can be done to protect against the cyber pandemic? One of the most important steps is to invest in cybersecurity measures, such as firewalls, antivirus software, and regular software updates. It is also crucial for individuals and organizations to educate themselves about the risks of cyber attacks and take precautions to protect their data.

Governments also have a role to play in combating the cyber pandemic. They can enact legislation to hold hackers accountable for their actions, as well as provide resources and support to businesses and individuals affected by cyber attacks.

Ultimately, the cyber pandemic is a reminder of the importance of cybersecurity in a digital world. By taking proactive measures to protect against cyber attacks, we can help ensure the safety and security of our online systems and data.
