With the Super Bowl weekend approaching, the Colorado State Patrol (CSP) is gearing up to increase patrols in Adams County from February 8 to February 10. The primary focus of these patrols will be to target impaired drivers on the roads.
According to a press release from CSP, state troopers will be strategically stationed on major roadways and feeder streets throughout the weekend to ensure the safety of all motorists. Adams County has seen a concerning number of fatal accidents in the past, with 85 of them being attributed to drivers who were either under the influence, speeding, or distracted.
To combat this issue, CSP is urging the public to report any instances of unsafe driving they witness during the weekend. Reports can be made by calling 911 or by contacting CSP directly at 303-239-4522.
As we approach the Super Bowl weekend, it is crucial for everyone to prioritize safe driving practices and to be vigilant on the roads. By working together and reporting any suspicious or dangerous behavior, we can help prevent tragic accidents and keep our roads safe for all.
