A former Indiana school choir and theater teacher, Kayvon H. Emtiaz, has been arrested for disturbing allegations involving child pornography and solicitation of underage girls. The 28-year-old was accused of filming himself masturbating in his classroom and sending the videos to teenage girls, according to police reports.

Emtiaz allegedly used social media to solicit multiple 13-year-old girls, portraying himself as a “naughty teacher who fantasizes about his students.” Shockingly, he saved some of the footage he received from underage girls to fuel his disturbing fantasies, as per court documents.

The investigation began when Snapchat alerted authorities about a “person of trust” downloading child pornography in the Avon area, a suburb of Indianapolis. Concurrently, rumors surfaced about a teacher masturbating inside schools, leading to a search warrant on Emtiaz’s Snapchat accounts, “kavman105” and “fiftyshadedaddy.”

The files found on these accounts included videos of a man masturbating in a classroom setting, believed to be a music room. These videos were shared with other accounts on the app, along with inappropriate content involving underage girls.

Emtiaz, who confessed to using the mentioned Snapchat accounts, admitted to engaging in conversations with underage girls but claimed to have no recollection of all of them. He revealed that he saved videos of underage girls to fulfill his fantasies.

Charged with 10 counts of possession of child pornography, two counts of child solicitation, and one count of vicarious sexual gratification, Emtiaz posted a $40,000 bond and was released from jail. His jury trial is scheduled for February 10, 2025.

Having worked in various schools within the Avon Community School Corporation since 2019, Emtiaz was immediately terminated from his coaching position in the district upon the emergence of these allegations. The district spokesperson confirmed that there were no known connections between the charges and Avon students.

This disturbing case serves as a reminder of the importance of safeguarding children and ensuring that individuals in positions of trust are thoroughly vetted and monitored to prevent such heinous acts.
