Declan Rice Fit to Play Against Sporting Lisbon in Champions League Clash

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has confirmed that Declan Rice is fit and ready to play in the upcoming UEFA Champions League match against Sporting Lisbon. Rice missed the last game against Nottingham Forest due to a knock, but Arteta has reassured fans that the England international is back in contention.

In Rice’s absence, Arsenal managed a convincing 3-0 victory over Nottingham Forest with goals from Ethan Nwaneri, Thomas Partey, and Bukayo Saka. However, Arteta will be pleased to have Rice back in the squad for the crucial Champions League fixture.

During Rice’s absence, Arteta opted to start Mikel Merino and Partey in midfield against Nottingham Forest, and they put in a solid performance. But having Rice back in the team will provide Arsenal with more options and flexibility in the midfield.

After suffering a 1-0 defeat to Inter Milan in their last Champions League outing, Arsenal will be eager to bounce back with a win against Sporting Lisbon. The Gunners will be looking to secure three points and regain momentum in the competition.

With Rice declared fit and ready to play, Arsenal fans can expect to see him back in action in the midfield alongside his teammates. Arteta will be hoping that Rice can make a positive impact on the game and help Arsenal secure a crucial victory in the Champions League.
