Denver Sheriff Diggins Makes Friendly Bet with New York Counterpart Ahead of Broncos vs. Bills Wild-Card Game
Denver Sheriff Elias Diggins is adding some sizzle to the upcoming Broncos vs. Bills wild-card game with a friendly wager against Erie County Sheriff John Garcia. The stakes? Steaks versus Buffalo wings.
In a video posted on Tuesday, Sheriff Garcia showcased Buffalo’s famous appetizer, the Buffalo wings, as his offering in the bet. Sheriff Diggins wasted no time in accepting the challenge, expressing his confidence in quarterback Bo Nix, cornerback Pat Surtain II, and the entire Broncos team.
“If the Bills come out on top, Colorado’s finest steaks will be making their way to Buffalo. But we’re looking forward to a victory on Sunday,” Sheriff Diggins stated in response.
The highly anticipated game will take place at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, New York, marking the Broncos’ first playoff appearance since 2016. Kickoff is scheduled for 11 a.m., setting the stage for an intense showdown between the two teams.
