Airport officials at Denver International Airport have issued a warning to travelers planning to drive to the airport on Thanksgiving Day. As of 8 a.m., all on-site parking lots and garages were reported to be full, leaving travelers in need of alternative parking options.
In a social media post on X, the airport notified travelers of the full parking situation and recommended using off-site parking lots not managed by the airport. This includes locations such as The Parking Spot in Aurora and Wally Park in Denver. A complete list of shuttle lots can be found on the airport’s website.
Despite efforts to accommodate travelers, all on-site parking options, including the East and West parking garages, East and West economy lots, and even the Pikes Peak and Longs Peak lots, were still full as of 10:30 a.m. Officials urge travelers to plan ahead and consider using off-site parking to avoid any delays or inconveniences.
