Africa Tech Festival 2025 Unveils Esteemed Leadership Council

The Africa Tech Festival, known as the continent’s premier platform for technology innovation and connectivity, has announced the members of its prestigious Leadership Council for 2025. Comprised of influential figures from Africa’s technology, business, and investment sectors, the Leadership Council will play a crucial role in shaping the agenda of the festival, ensuring it remains at the forefront of industry trends, policy discussions, and digital transformation.

The Africa Tech Festival 2025 Leadership Council includes notable individuals such as Brelotte Ba, Deputy CEO of Orange Middle East and Africa; Antoinette Kwofie, Chief Financial Officer of MTN Ghana; Bunmi Adeleye, Chief Strategy Officer of Retail Supermarkets Nigeria; and Charles Murito, Regional Director of Government Affairs and Public Affairs for Sub-Saharan Africa at Google. Other members of the council include leaders from First National Bank, Eskom, APO Group, Standard Bank, SABC, and Vodacom Tanzania, among others.

With a wealth of expertise, the Leadership Council will provide strategic guidance to ensure that Africa Tech Festival continues to address the most pressing issues and opportunities within Africa’s digital economy. Their insights will drive discussions on connectivity, AI, fintech, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, and the future of digital infrastructure across the continent.

James Williams, Event Director of Africa Tech Festival, emphasized the importance of the Leadership Council in curating an event that fosters impactful conversations, supports industry growth, and positions Africa as a global technology leader. The council’s guidance will help shape the festival into a platform for connection, collaboration, and innovation across the continent.

Africa Tech Festival 2025 is set to take place from November 11 to 13, 2025, at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC). The event will bring together over 15,000 technology leaders, policymakers, investors, startups, and visionaries. The festival comprises four anchor events: AfricaCom, AfricaTech, AfricaIgnite, and The AI Summit Cape Town. With over 500 speakers, 300 exhibitors, and numerous networking opportunities, Africa Tech Festival remains the largest and most influential tech event on the continent.
