A tragic incident occurred in Gyinyase, Kumasi, where a devastating fire claimed the lives of a nurse and her three children. The family was trapped inside their home at dawn, with no chance of escape as the flames engulfed the house.

Eyewitness Kwabena Mensah shared the harrowing experience of trying to rescue the victims. Despite his efforts and those of neighbors, they were unable to break into the house in time to save the family. The sound of the children calling out for help as the fire raged on was heartbreaking, leaving Mensah in tears as he recounted the futile rescue attempts.

Mensah’s wife, who was the first to notice the fire, also expressed her anguish at the tragic loss. She had woken up early to prepare her goods for sale when she saw the flames at their neighbor’s house. Despite alerting her husband and other neighbors, they were unable to save the nurse and her children from the deadly blaze.

The community is in shock and mourning over the loss of the mother and her children. Authorities have yet to provide updates on the cause of the fire or any investigations into the incident. The tragic event has left a deep impact on the neighborhood, highlighting the importance of fire safety and prevention measures.

The heartbreaking story of the nurse and her children’s untimely death serves as a reminder of the fragility of life and the need for vigilance in ensuring the safety of our homes and loved ones. May their souls rest in peace as the community mourns this devastating loss.
