The 26th edition of the prestigious Telecel Ghana Music Awards took place at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC), marking it as the biggest night of music in Ghana. The event, organized by the Ghana Music Award Academy Board, showcased a lineup of talented artists and celebrated the best in the industry.
In March 2025, the nominees for various categories were announced, including Artiste of the Year, Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best New Artist. The competition was fierce, with top artists like King Paluta, Stonebwoy, King Promise, Black Sherif, Joe Mettle, Kweku Smoke, and gospel collective Team Eternity leading the pack.
The winners of the 26th TGMA were revealed, and it was a night to remember. King Promise took home the coveted “Artiste of the Year” award, solidifying his position as one of Ghana’s top artists.
