Two people were taken to the hospital in Adams County Friday morning after a home went up in flames, according to the fire department.
One person was trapped in the fire, pulled from the home and transported to the hospital, according to a post on X from the Thornton Fire Department.
Adams County Fire Rescue spokesperson Julie Browman confirmed the unidentified adult was in critical condition. No other information was available Friday morning.
A second person was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation, according to Adams County Fire Rescue.
Adams County Fire Rescue crews responded to reports of a house fire at 8490 Faraday Street just after 7 a.m. Friday, according to a post on X from the department.
Additional crews from the Thornton Fire Department, North Metro Fire Rescue District and Federal Heights Fire Department were called to the scene to assist, the department stated in the post.
Investigators from Adams County Fire Rescue and the Adams County Sheriff’s Office are working to determine the cause of the fire and extent of the damages.
