University of Ghana Medical Centre to Introduce Hair Transplant Services
The University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC) will soon offer hair transplant services as a form of plastic surgery for individuals experiencing baldness. This new initiative is set to roll out by the end of the year, providing a solution for those looking to restore their hair.
What is Hair Transplant?
According to the World Health Organisation (WHO), hair transplant is a surgical procedure where hair is transferred from a donor area to a recipient area that is bald or thinning. This procedure aims to improve the appearance of the individual and boost their confidence.
