No Arrests Made Yet

While the South African Police Service (SAPS) have opened a case of murder and attempted murder in connection with the shooting, no arrests have been made as of yet. According to Brigadier Donald Mdhluli, regional spokesperson for the SAPS, the motive behind the shooting remains unclear at this stage.

Reports suggest that a group of armed suspects entered the liquor outlet and began firing shots, causing serious injuries to the three victims present at the scene.

Two Victims Succumb to Injuries

Upon arriving at the scene, law enforcement officials were informed that the three victims had already been rushed to the hospital. Sadly, two of the victims did not survive their injuries, while the third individual continues to receive medical care.

There is a possibility that additional victims may have sustained injuries during the incident but have yet to come forward.
