The Tunisian-Omani Business Forum took place in Tunis, bringing together officials and business leaders from both countries to strengthen economic and trade relations and explore investment opportunities. The event, organized by the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Tunisian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, featured working sessions highlighting investment prospects in Oman and Tunisia.

Representatives from both countries’ investment authorities shared information on available projects and investment procedures, facilitating bilateral meetings between entrepreneurs to discuss potential collaborations and exchange expertise. Tunisia’s Minister of Trade and Export Development, Samir Abid, emphasized the significance of enhancing trade ties between Oman and Tunisia. He pointed out promising investment opportunities in renewable energy, IT, food industries, and tourism, inviting Omani investors to leverage Tunisia’s investment-friendly environment.

Dr. Hilal Abdullah Ali Alsanani, Oman’s Ambassador to Tunisia, expressed Oman’s commitment to expanding cooperation with Tunisia across various sectors. He highlighted the countries’ strong historical connections and efforts to encourage Tunisian companies to invest in Oman. He underlined the mutual goal of facilitating communication among business stakeholders and offering support to nurture bilateral partnerships.

The forum aimed to foster collaboration and mutual growth between Tunisia and Oman, showcasing the potential for enhanced economic and trade cooperation. Both countries are keen on leveraging each other’s strengths and resources to drive sustainable development and prosperity. The event underscored the importance of building strong alliances and leveraging synergies for shared economic progress.

Overall, the Tunisian-Omani Business Forum served as a platform for networking, knowledge exchange, and partnership building, with a focus on driving economic growth and prosperity in both countries. Through such initiatives, Oman and Tunisia aim to strengthen their economic ties, promote investment opportunities, and foster a conducive environment for business collaboration and growth.
