Robert Lewandowski Looks Ahead After Barcelona’s Treble-winning Season

Following a triumphant campaign that saw FC Barcelona clinch La Liga, the Copa del Rey, and the Spanish Super Cup, star player Robert Lewandowski is already setting his sights on the future.

As a pivotal player in Barça’s success this season, Lewandowski recently shared his thoughts with Mundo Deportivo, offering insight into what lies ahead for the team — and his perspective is grounded in realism.

“It wasn’t an easy journey for the coach, and Hansi made it clear to all of us that in order to secure titles, each player needed to perform at their peak,” Lewandowski reflected.

“That’s why many of us delivered exceptional performances throughout the season. However, after experiencing such a stellar year, we anticipate facing greater challenges in the upcoming season. The expectations will be even higher.”

Lewandowski emphasizes the importance of mental preparedness in coping with the heightened pressure. “With the right mindset, we can leverage our past experiences to navigate the obstacles that lie ahead. Yet, we must also acknowledge that every opposing team will now be motivated to defeat us — we must be prepared for that,” he asserted. The message is clear: Barcelona must be prepared to elevate their efforts to maintain their position at the summit.
