Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) made history on Saturday by clinching their first-ever Champions League title with a resounding 5-0 victory over Inter Milan. The final, which took place at Munich’s Allianz Arena, will go down in the record books as the most one-sided final in the history of the prestigious competition. Teenage sensation Desire Doue stole the show, scoring twice and providing an assist for the opening goal by Achraf Hakimi.

The French side wasted no time in asserting their dominance, as Hakimi calmly slotted home a pass from Doue just 12 minutes into the game to give PSG an early lead. Their advantage was doubled eight minutes later when Willian Pacho initiated a swift counterattack from near their own goal, culminating in Doue firing a deflected shot past Inter goalkeeper Yann Sommer.

PSG continued to showcase their attacking prowess, extending their lead to 3-0 with a well-executed move that saw Vitinha set up Doue for his second goal of the night. Georgian international Khvicha Kvaratskhelia further solidified PSG’s lead with a skillful low finish, before 19-year-old substitute Senny Mayulu put the result beyond doubt with a composed finish following a slick team move.

The victory marks a significant milestone for PSG, who are owned by Qatari investors and have now joined Marseille as only the second French club to lift the coveted Champions League trophy since 1993. The team’s stellar performance in the final showcased their talent and determination, solidifying their place in football history as Champions League winners.

With this triumph, PSG has cemented their status as a powerhouse in European football and will be looking to build on this success in future competitions. The team’s relentless attacking display and clinical finishing in the final will be remembered as a testament to their skill and determination on the biggest stage in club football.
