A Woman’s Heart-Stopping Encounter with a Carpet Python in Australia
Imagine opening your garage door only to have a massive carpet python swing directly into your face. That’s exactly what happened to one Australian woman, Rachel Jelley, in a heart-stopping moment caught on camera.
Jelley, a resident of Queensland, was just trying to grab some screws from her garage when the unexpected visitor made its grand entrance. Security camera footage captured the snake bungee down from the garage ceiling near the automatic door, sending Jelley recoiling in shock.
Despite the terrifying encounter, Jelley revealed that the snake has been a long-time visitor to her property and that she has no intention of banishing the belly crawler. “Afterwards, he went back up and got comfy on a rafter,” she nonchalantly told the outlet.
The Aussie lass, who resides in Currumbin Waters, seems unfazed by the close encounter with the python, showcasing a remarkable level of tolerance for her uninvited guest.
