The Nok people of Nigeria are known for their intricate terracotta figures, some of the earliest sculptures found in Africa dating back to around 1000 BC. These detailed clay figures have influenced modern African artists and are celebrated in museums worldwide, highlighting the long history of advanced art in Africa.

In Zimbabwe, the mbira, or thumb piano, is a traditional musical instrument that produces beautiful, calming sounds when its metal keys are plucked. Used in ceremonies, storytelling, and healing, the mbira has found its way into modern music, blending African tradition with global tunes.
