KTU Radio, a campus-based radio station affiliated with Joy FM, operated by the Multimedia Group Limited, has been chosen to participate in a specialized training workshop organized by the Bank of Ghana (BoG).
The three-day residential training workshop, scheduled to take place in Koforidua from June 25-28, 2025, aims to provide journalists with the necessary skills to accurately interpret and report on economic issues, monetary policy decisions, and their impact on Ghana’s economy.
Benedicta Yaa Ohenewa Asamoah, a broadcast journalist with KTU Radio, will be among the participants receiving this valuable training from the central bank.
KTU Radio, broadcasting on 87.7FM, serves as the official mouthpiece of Koforidua Technical University in the Eastern Region, keeping students and staff informed of the latest developments and information from the school authorities.
The collaboration between KTU Radio and the Bank of Ghana underscores the importance of media in disseminating accurate and insightful information on economic matters, contributing to a better understanding of monetary policies and their implications for the nation’s economy.
As KTU Radio continues to uphold its commitment to providing quality news and programming to its listeners, this training workshop will further enhance the station’s capabilities in delivering informed and engaging content to its audience.
