Khalid has made a bold statement by confirming his sexuality as gay, following speculations that he was outed by another singer. The R&B sensation took to his X account on Friday night to post a rainbow flag emoji, along with the message, “there yall go. next topic please lol.”

This revelation came after fans noticed a social media post by another singer that seemed to hint at Khalid’s sexuality. In response to a comment questioning his sexual orientation, Khalid openly declared, “I am! And, that’s okay.”

Despite the unexpected turn of events, Khalid remained steadfast in his self-acceptance. In a series of tweets, he emphasized that he is not ashamed of his sexuality and that it is nobody’s business but his own. He expressed gratitude for the support from his fans and reiterated his love for them.

The singer also addressed the controversy surrounding the outing, referencing since-deleted posts from singer Hugo D Almonte. While Khalid did not dwell on the incident, he made it clear that he was not hiding anything and that his sexuality is a personal matter.

The response from fans has been overwhelmingly positive, with many pointing to Khalid’s song “Satellite” as a reflection of LGBTQ themes in his music. The singer’s candidness and authenticity have been praised, with fans commending him for staying true to himself.

Overall, Khalid’s decision to come out has sparked important conversations about LGBTQ representation in the music industry. As he continues to navigate his journey, it is evident that his message of self-acceptance and love resonates deeply with his audience.
