Pulse Ghana Dominates Jumia Ghana in Friendly Match to Celebrate International Men’s Day

In a thrilling friendly match to commemorate the 2024 International Men’s Day, Pulse Ghana emerged victorious over Jumia Ghana by a resounding scoreline of 18-8. What was anticipated to be a closely contested game quickly turned into a one-sided affair as the Pulsers dominated their opponents from start to finish.

The match kicked off at the East Legon McDan Park under the floodlights, with Pulse Ghana donning blue kits to match the day’s color theme. Right from the start, the Pulsers showed their dominance by scoring four unanswered goals in the first 20 minutes of the game. Their female co-workers in the stands cheered them on enthusiastically, adding to the electric atmosphere of the match.

As the game progressed, Pulse Ghana’s Percy emerged as the standout player, scoring goal after goal and earning the title of Man of the Match. Despite the Jumia boys’ attempts to change the rules of the game, the referee stood firm, and Pulse Ghana continued their onslaught.

At halftime, the score stood at 10-3 in favor of Pulse Ghana. Both teams took a break, sharing refreshments and camaraderie before returning to the field for the second half. Despite a few changes in the lineup, Pulse Ghana maintained their dominance, scoring eight more goals while Jumia managed to find the back of the net five times. The final scoreline of 18-8 reflected Pulse Ghana’s superiority throughout the match.

After the game, Percy, the standout player of the night, expressed his joy at the team’s performance. He credited their success to teamwork and his dedication to fitness and studying the techniques of legendary player Lionel Messi.

With Jumia Ghana calling for a rematch, the question remains whether Pulse Ghana will accept the challenge. The 2024 International Men’s Day, celebrated under the theme “Positive Male Role Models,” highlighted the camaraderie and sportsmanship displayed on the field that evening.

As Pulse Ghana basks in their victory, the friendly match served as a reminder of the power of sports to bring people together and celebrate the spirit of competition in a fun and engaging manner.
