Mr. Mzimela

The documentary introduces us to Mr. Mzimela, an elderly farmer who has dedicated his life to mastering the art of farming. Initially granted a piece of land to cultivate with the help of his sister and the chief, Mr. Mzimela realized the importance of expanding his sugarcane farm to secure a sustainable future for his family.

With the assistance of Tongaat Hulett, Mr. Mzimela was able to invest in a tractor and diversify his crops, not only providing for his family but also creating employment opportunities within his community. His story is one of perseverance, resilience, and hope, highlighting the transformative power of support and opportunity.
