A groundbreaking partnership between Swedish technology provider Telness Tech, VAS2Nets, and Lebara is set to revolutionize the telecommunications landscape in Nigeria. This strategic collaboration combines international expertise with local market knowledge to deliver cutting-edge telecommunication services to Nigerian consumers.

Lebara, a well-established telecommunications company with a strong presence in five European markets, brings its wealth of experience to the Nigerian market. Their proven track record in international telecommunications adds credibility to the new venture. Telness Tech, on the other hand, contributes its state-of-the-art automated platform technology, designed to enhance customer experience through efficient operations.

Supporting the technical infrastructure is Processcom, providing essential mobile core infrastructure, while VAS2Nets plays a crucial role in coordinating the international partners and managing local operations. This fusion of technical expertise and market understanding positions the venture for successful implementation in Nigeria.

Martina Klingvall, CEO and Founder of Telness Tech, emphasizes the importance of introducing advanced telecom technology to Nigeria. This expansion follows Telness Tech’s recent entry into the American market, showcasing the company’s global growth strategy. The partnership leverages Lebara’s brand recognition and VAS2Nets’ local expertise, setting the stage for a successful collaboration.

The multi-year, multi-million-dollar agreement will offer both prepaid and postpaid mobile services, with plans for PBX solution development in the future. Telness Tech’s OSS and BSS platforms will handle customer service and operational functions, making this initiative one of Nigeria’s first new mobile operators in recent years.

Teniola Stuffman, VAS2Nets’ Group Executive Director of Business Development, highlights the project’s commitment to providing affordable, high-quality mobile services. The combination of international expertise and advanced technology aims to elevate telecommunications standards in Nigeria.

Daniel Upson, Lebara’s Director of Partnerships, underscores the synergy between partner capabilities. The collaboration brings together Lebara’s brand strength, Telness Tech’s technological innovation, and VAS2Nets’ market understanding to enhance mobile communication services for Nigerian consumers.

This partnership showcases international confidence in Nigeria’s telecommunications market potential. By merging global experience with local insight, the venture aims to meet the growing consumer demand for advanced mobile services while contributing to Nigeria’s digital infrastructure development. This initiative represents a significant step towards advancing telecommunications in Nigeria.
