Xbox Partnership with LG Smart TVs

One of the major highlights at CES is the partnership between Xbox and LG Smart TVs, which will allow gamers to access a wide range of games through the Xbox app. With this collaboration, players can explore and play a diverse selection of PC and console games, as well as upcoming Xbox titles, all through a dedicated gaming portal on LG Smart TVs.

The gaming portal serves as a centralized hub for gamers to navigate through various gaming options, including the latest AAA titles and casual webOS app games, providing a personalized gaming experience for all users.

Lenovo Unveils Lenovo Legion Go S

Lenovo has introduced the world’s first officially licensed handheld gaming device running SteamOS, known as the Lenovo Legion Go S. This portable gaming device features an 8-inch VRR display, adjustable TrueStrike controllers, and seamless access to the Steam library, offering gamers a console-like experience on the go.

In addition to the Legion Go S, Lenovo has also showcased the Windows-based Lenovo Legion Go S and a prototype of the next-gen Lenovo Legion Go, featuring a native landscape OLED display, doubled RAM, and an enhanced battery capacity.

Asus, Samsung, and Dell Gaming Monitor Updates

Samsung has upgraded its G6 gaming monitor line with a 500MHz refresh rate version of its 1440p, 27-inch OLED monitor, catering to gamers who seek high-performance displays. Asus’ ROG gaming line and Dell’s Alienware monitors also received updates, with Dell focusing on its mainstream S series for significant enhancements.

HP, MSI, and USB-C Portable Monitor

HP introduced the Omen 32X smart gaming monitor, integrating Google TV to offer standalone cloud gaming and streaming app support, in addition to Android compatibility. MSI unveiled a range of monitors, including the impressive 27-inch 500Hz QD-OLED monitor.

One of the standout innovations at CES 2025 was a 24-inch USB-C portable monitor, which serves as a small standalone touchscreen display with a resolution of 2560×720 at 60Hz. This unique concept allows users to utilize the monitor for various applications, system metrics, and more.

With the unveiling of these groundbreaking technologies at CES 2025, the gaming industry is set to witness a new era of immersive and interactive gaming experiences that will redefine the way gamers engage with their favorite titles.
