Ericsson Appoints Sandile Dhlomo as Head of Ericsson South Africa

Ericsson (NASDAQ: ERIC) has announced the appointment of Sandile Dhlomo as the new Head of Ericsson South Africa, effective 01 September 2025. Sandile will be leading the operations in South Africa as part of Ericsson West and Southern Africa, under the leadership of Majda Lahlou Kassi, who heads the region within Ericsson Europe, Middle East, and Africa.

Experience and Expertise

With over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications and digital industry, Sandile has held various senior roles across the African continent. His expertise includes strategic leadership in Information and Communications Technology, network consulting, business development, and marketing in countries such as Algeria, Nigeria, Kenya, and Ghana.

Strategic Focus on South Africa

Majda Lahlou Kassi, Vice President of Ericsson West and Southern Africa, emphasizes the importance of a localized approach in key markets, with South Africa being a top priority for Ericsson. Sandile’s industry knowledge and leadership skills are expected to drive growth and strengthen partnerships in the region.
