Police Investigating Alleged “Spider-Man Stalker” Leaving Mysterious Packages
Authorities in Hailsham Sussex, England are on the lookout for an alleged “stalker” who has been dressing as Spider-Man and leaving mysterious packages on a victim’s doorstep. The investigation was prompted by a series of reports spanning a year.
According to police reports, the suspect has left at least three packages at the door of a home in the town. Surveillance footage captured the individual wearing a Spider-Man mask near Western Road on August 26. Subsequent deliveries were made on December 29 and February 13, with the suspect always keeping their face covered.
A spokesperson from Sussex police stated, “Enquiries into these incidents are ongoing, and we are asking anyone with information to report it to police. If you have CCTV footage, photos, or witnessed anything suspicious in the area, you can contact police by filling out an online reporting form or by calling 101 and quoting Operation Cursor.”
