At the tender age of 17, Dempsey embarked on her journey as a nail technician, showcasing her entrepreneurial spirit and passion for beauty. Despite her early success in the industry, she decided to pursue a career in education, following in her mother’s footsteps. During the peak of the third wave of Covid-19, Dempsey contracted the deadly virus, leading to a near-death experience that would forever change her perspective on life. Struggling to breathe, she was faced with the stark reality of the overwhelmed healthcare system and the grim consequences of the pandemic.
Thanks to the timely intervention of an ECMO machine, Dempsey defied the odds and fought bravely for her life. Despite witnessing the loss of others around her, she remained steadfast in her resolve to overcome the virus and emerge stronger than ever.
