The West African Regional Stock Exchange, the Bourse Régionale des Valeurs Mobilières (BRVM), is gearing up for the highly anticipated launch of the latest BRVM Investment Days Roadshow in London.

Scheduled for 8 April 2025 at the prestigious London Stock Exchange, BRVM Investment Days has become a must-attend event on the global investment calendar. The roadshow provides a comprehensive overview of the West African business and investment landscape, fostering strategic dialogue between participants in the West African Economic and Monetary Union (WAEMU) regional financial market and international investors.

Themed ‘Exploring Portfolio Investment Opportunities in the WAEMU Region’, the invitation-only tour will showcase the region’s investment prospects, with a focus on key sectors such as telecommunications, financial services, agriculture, and energy. The event also aims to promote regional integration and highlight economic diversification and growth opportunities in the guest country, Benin.

Benin will be in the spotlight during the roadshow as the government works towards revitalizing the country’s economy and attracting foreign investments, particularly in sectors like tourism and manufacturing. Emphasis will be placed on public-private partnerships, job creation, and marketing strategies to drive economic growth.

BRVM CEO, Dr. Edoh Kossi Amenounve, highlighted the success of the BRVM and encouraged investment in the region. He noted that the BRVM had seen consistent growth, making it the fifth-largest stock exchange in Africa. With returns exceeding 8% on the stock market and around 6% on the bond market, the BRVM is increasingly attracting investors.

Following the conference, thematic high-level meetings focusing on Green Finance and Islamic Finance will be held on 9 April. BRVM Investment Days 2025 is a premier event for institutional investors, investment advisors, corporate advisors, bankers, political and economic authorities, and market players in the WAEMU region and the Diaspora.

Previous editions of the event held in Paris, New York, Dubai, and Johannesburg were highly successful, attracting around a hundred investors and financiers in each city.

The BRVM is the world’s first fully integrated regional stock exchange, serving the eight countries of the WAEMU. With a market capitalization of 10,078.68 billion CFA francs at the end of 2024, the BRVM is managed by CEO Dr. Edoh Kossi Amenounve and is based in Côte d’Ivoire.
