The Angola Oil & Gas (AOG) conference and exhibition is set to launch its 2025 edition at a Reception Event in Luanda on January 28, 2025. This exclusive gathering will take place at Lookal Beach Club from 18:00-21:00 and will pave the way for the 6th edition of Angola’s premier oil and gas conference, scheduled for September 2025.

AOG has established itself as the leading platform for driving investments, forming partnerships, and advancing oil and gas projects in Angola. With a focus on uniting global financial institutions and technology providers with Angola’s abundant project and investment opportunities, the conference serves as the official deal-signing platform for the Angolan oil and gas industry. The upcoming edition promises exciting deal-signing opportunities, expanded discussion topics, and increased collaboration opportunities to build on the success of previous editions.

Supported by key entities such as the Ministry of Mineral Resources, Oil and Gas, the National Oil, Gas and Biofuels Agency, Sonangol, and the African Energy Chamber, AOG is the largest oil and gas event in Angola. It offers a valuable platform for signing deals and driving the country’s oil and gas industry forward. Companies interested in sponsoring or participating as delegates can reach out to sales@energycapitalpower.com for more information.

Angola presents significant growth opportunities for exploration and production companies, with a strategic focus on maintaining crude oil production above one million barrels per day beyond 2027 and expanding the role of natural gas in the energy mix. With an investment pipeline exceeding $60 billion over the next five years, Angola offers a variety of onshore and offshore acreage for exploration and development. The 2025 edition will coincide with the launch of an international bid round, as well as key milestones such as operations commencing at the Cabinda oil refinery and the final investment decision on Angola’s first green hydrogen project.

Luis Conde, Event & Project Director at Energy Capital & Power, highlights the significance of the AOG conference in driving transformative deals and industry collaboration. The 2025 edition arrives at a crucial moment for Angola’s oil and gas sector, offering opportunities in exploration, production, refining, and energy transition projects. The Launch Reception on January 28 aims to bring industry leaders together to celebrate Angola’s achievements and prepare for another impactful event.

As Angola’s oil and gas industry gears up for growth in 2025, AOG will continue to play a pivotal role in connecting stakeholders, showcasing innovation, and facilitating deals that drive the country’s energy ambitions. Industry leaders, policymakers, investors, and stakeholders are invited to attend the Launch Reception, providing a unique opportunity to network, share insights, and get a preview of what the 2025 conference will offer. In conclusion, the Angola Oil & Gas conference and exhibition is set to kick off its 2025 edition with a launch event in Luanda, marking the beginning of a year filled with opportunities for investments, partnerships, and advancements in Angola’s oil and gas sector.
