Manchester United Manager Ruben Amorim Optimistic About Team’s Energy Shift
Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim believes that there has been a noticeable shift in energy at the club following a recent positive run of results. Despite being in 13th place in the Premier League, United has shown resilience in their last seven matches across all competitions.
Amorim acknowledges that the team’s self-belief is delicate as they prepare to resume play after the international break. With only nine matches remaining in the season, United is 12 points away from the top four but remains unbeaten in their recent fixtures.
Speaking about the team’s current state, Amorim stated, “I’m really confident. I feel that the players are more confident, the energy is different, but I also know that this could change with the results. So we are focused on maintaining the energy and improving on certain aspects of our game.”
United faces a packed schedule in April, with key fixtures including a Europa League quarter-final against Lyon and challenging Premier League matches against Manchester City and Newcastle. The return of defenders Harry Maguire and Leny Yoro adds depth to the squad, and Amorim revealed that Ayden Heaven’s injury is not as serious as initially thought.
Amorim emphasized the importance of having all players available for selection, allowing for rotation and tactical flexibility during matches. He expressed confidence in the team’s readiness to take on tough opponents in the upcoming games.
As United navigates through a crucial phase in the season, Amorim remains optimistic about the team’s prospects. With a renewed sense of energy and determination, the club aims to build on their recent successes and push for a strong finish in the league.
