Africar Group Pty Ltd, the parent company of AUTO24.africa — Africa’s fastest-growing certified used car marketplace — is excited to announce the recent acquisition of Koto.ci, the leading online reference platform for new car prices in Côte d’Ivoire.

With the backing of global automotive giant Stellantis, AUTO24.africa currently operates in five African countries — Côte d’Ivoire, Morocco, South Africa, Senegal, and Rwanda — and is actively expanding into new markets across the continent.

Africar Group is strategically expanding its ecosystem to create Africa’s most comprehensive 360° digital automotive platform, catering to car buyers and sellers at every stage of vehicle ownership. The Group’s four interconnected platforms include AUTO24 for certified pre-owned cars, Local Classifieds for multi-vendor transactions, Automotive Content Websites for news and insights, and now Koto for new car price transparency.

In Côte d’Ivoire, this integrated approach is already operational with AUTO24.ci, Voitures.ci, AutoMag.ci, and now Koto.ci, offering a one-stop hub for vehicle listings, pricing, and trusted automotive information. The Group aims to replicate this successful strategy across all AUTO24 markets, introducing localized Koto platforms in Morocco, Senegal, Rwanda, and South Africa.

The acquisition of Koto.ci enhances Africar Group’s commitment to driving transparency and trust in the automotive industry by providing consumers with accurate new vehicle pricing information. This move supports African car buyers in making well-informed decisions and strengthens industry partners’ access to potential buyers.

Africar Group now manages over 70 digital platforms across 15 African countries, including certified used car marketplaces, a leading automotive classifieds network, editorial content platforms, and Koto-branded platforms for transparent new car pricing. These platforms attract more than 15 million auto-interested users annually, solidifying Africar Group’s position as the digital leader in Africa’s automotive sector.

Africar Group, headquartered in Sydney, Australia, is the holding company behind AUTO24.africa and the continent’s largest automotive digital ecosystem. With the support of Stellantis and other international investors, the company is dedicated to shaping the future of tech in Africa and beyond.
