Diddy is facing another alleged abuse lawsuit, with a woman named Bryana “Bana” Bongolan claiming that he dangled her over the edge of a balcony, 17 stories off the ground. Bongolan filed the lawsuit in L.A. Superior Court earlier this week, suing Diddy for sexual battery, false imprisonment, and other claims.
In the lawsuit, Bongolan accuses Diddy of dangling her over the edge of a balcony at his then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura’s apartment in September 2016. She alleges that Diddy came over late at night while she was staying at Cassie’s place and began groping her. Bongolan claims she tried to resist, but Diddy allegedly held her over the balcony.
Eventually, Bongolan says Diddy pulled her back up to the balcony before allegedly slamming her into some patio furniture, including a table. Bongolan is seeking $10 million in damages for the incident.
Diddy’s team has released a statement denying these claims, stating that “Mr. Combs firmly denies these serious allegations and remains confident they will ultimately be proven baseless.” They express unwavering faith in the facts and the fairness of the judicial process, believing that the claims against Diddy are without merit and will be proven false in court.
Meanwhile, Diddy remains locked up in MDC Brooklyn after a judge denied his fourth request for bail, citing concerns about community safety if Diddy were to be released. His trial is scheduled for next May.
The allegations against Diddy have sparked controversy and drawn attention to the issue of abuse and assault. It remains to be seen how the legal proceedings will unfold and what the outcome of the case will be.
