A mysterious sighting of a UFO has left a man and his wife in awe after capturing footage of the unidentified object hovering over their neighbor’s house. John Nicholls, a 45-year-old health and safety inspector from Alresford, Colchester, Essex, was watching TV with his wife, Maureen, 50, at 9 pm on November 17 when he noticed something unusual in the night sky.
Initially dismissing it as a meteor or a planet, Nicholls was intrigued when the object started to make strange shapes and change colors, shifting from yellow to purple and white. Curiosity got the better of him, prompting him to grab his phone and start recording the bizarre phenomenon.
Describing the UFO as “absolutely huge,” Nicholls captured the object on video for a few minutes before it suddenly disappeared. The experience left both him and his wife convinced of the existence of aliens, a belief they had not held prior to the sighting.
Reflecting on the event, Nicholls shared, “When I first saw it I thought it was a planet or something. I kept watching and it started making odd shapes and changing colors – it was all very odd. We have seen meteor showers before from our window and it was nothing like that. From our bedroom, we can see the night sky and I have never seen anything like that.”
Despite not being a firm believer in UFOs, Nicholls had been following the recent UFO hearings in America out of interest. He even mentioned showing his partner a video of the Project Blue Book Alien interview just days before the sighting, making the experience even more surreal for both of them.
