President Biden Reaches Out to Trump to Offer Congratulations and Extend Meeting Invitation

In a gesture of unity and respect for the democratic process, President Joe Biden reached out to former President Donald Trump on Wednesday to offer his congratulations on his election victory. The White House confirmed that Biden also proposed a meeting in the “near future” to discuss important matters facing the nation.

The White House statement emphasized President Biden’s commitment to a smooth transition of power and stressed the importance of coming together as a country. By reaching out to his predecessor, President Biden demonstrated his willingness to put aside political differences and work towards a united vision for America.


President Biden extends an invitation to former President Trump for a meeting.

Additionally, President Biden took the time to speak with Vice President Kamala Harris, congratulating her on the historic nature of her campaign. The conversation between the two leaders underscored the importance of diversity and representation in American politics.

Looking ahead, the White House announced that President Biden will address the nation on Thursday to discuss the election results and outline his plans for the transition period. This address will provide the American people with insight into the priorities and objectives of the incoming administration.
