Netflix has recently introduced a new feature called Netflix Moments, which allows users to capture and save scenes from movies and series they watch on the platform. This feature is available on the mobile app and aims to enhance user engagement and encourage sharing of favorite moments with friends and family.

According to Marian Lee, Netflix’s chief marketing officer, Netflix Moments celebrates the unforgettable scenes, characters, and lines that stick with viewers long after they finish watching a show or movie. The feature is designed to evoke the same excitement and passion that fans experience when they first become obsessed with a great show on Netflix.

To use Netflix Moments, simply tap on the screen while watching a movie or series to access the “Moments” button on the bottom bar. Select the button, choose “Save,” and the scene will be stored in the My Netflix tab for later viewing. Users can revisit their saved moments on their phone and share them via social media, text message, or by copying the link.

When sharing a clip via social media, the scene will appear as a link that directs viewers to the marked scene on their own Netflix app. Additionally, the Moments feature also acts as a bookmark, so when users rewatch the series or movie, it will start playing from the captured scene saved with the Moments tool.

Netflix Moments was initially launched on iOS on October 28, 2024, with plans to introduce it to Android devices in the coming weeks. As of now, the feature is not available on PC, and it remains uncertain whether Netflix will extend its new feature to other devices in the future.

In conclusion, Netflix Moments is a user-friendly feature that enhances the viewing experience and promotes sharing favorite moments with others. With the ability to capture and save scenes from Netflix productions, users can relive their favorite moments and engage with fellow fans in a whole new way. Stay tuned for updates on the availability of Netflix Moments on different devices in the future.
