Central Tongu DCE, Hon. Addison Dodzi Mornyuie

The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Central Tongu in the Volta Region, Hon. Addison Dodzi Mornyuie, has responded to recent allegations circulating in the media regarding the procurement of furniture for the District Assembly.

Addressing Misinformation

Hon. Mornyuie has categorically refuted claims that his office spent One Hundred and Twenty Thousand Ghana Cedis (Ghc120,000.00) on furniture, labeling such reports as baseless and misleading.

Improving Work Environment

In a recent interview, the DCE clarified that the furniture acquisition was essential to address longstanding inefficiencies within the Assembly and create a more conducive work environment for staff.

Transparent Procurement Process

Emphasizing the transparency of the procurement process, Hon. Mornyuie highlighted that the decision to acquire the furniture was made collectively through appropriate management structures, with input from key officials within the Assembly.

Commitment to Service

The DCE reiterated his commitment to the efficient use of resources and the fulfillment of the Assembly’s mandate to serve the people of Central Tongu. He urged the public to seek clarification before spreading misinformation.

Support for Government Agenda

Furthermore, Hon. Mornyuie assured the public of his administration’s alignment with the government’s agenda and commitment to prioritizing the needs of the community.

In conclusion, the DCE urged the public to refrain from engaging in malicious campaigns and encouraged open dialogue to address any concerns or doubts. His administration remains dedicated to serving the people of Central Tongu with integrity and transparency.
